If only everyone had the heart of a child.
Children are the innocent ones. They’re the ones who love blindly, who haven’t yet been taught to have hearts of steel, or to walk down the wrong path. These three little girls are proof of that.
Rutha Andrew always taught her children to say a prayer before diving into their meals. It’s a simple gesture, and one that’s become “out of date” to many people, but it means so much.
It’s so important to take the time to reflect on what you are thankful for in your life, to remember what’s really important. Saying a simple thank-you prayer for family, love, health, and kindness with those sitting around the table only takes a minute or two, but so many people don’t take that little time.
When Andrew stepped away from the picnic table to grab some milk forOriana, Grace, and Alexisafter serving them breakfast, she came back to a scene that touched her heart so much, she knew she had to snap a picture of it.
I’ll tell you, I’m so glad that she did. It’s such a wonderful reminder of how we shouldallapproach our lives.
When’s the last time you took the time to reflect and say a prayer before you chowed down on that delicious meal? I know it’s been a long time for me.
